Leila Pepper
Owner & Pilates Instructor
Movement has been a central theme of Leila’s life since age 4, beginning with ballet. Her introduction to Pilates was as a young teenage ballet dancer and a VHS tape of Pilates mat work! With a BA in Sociology and a BFA in Dance and after receiving a grant to train at The Ailey School, she moved to New York City to pursue a dance career. Leila’s friend had recently been certified in Pilates through the Kane School of Core Integration NYC and had a home studio, where Leila had her introduction into the pilates equipment while working through a dance injury. “I started to see a difference in how my body felt and performed, and I was hooked!” In 2010, Leila began her Pilates teacher training at the Kane School with mat work and in 2011, began her equipment training. “I loved Kelly Kane’s hands-on, anatomy-focused and creative approach and I saw how everyone benefited from this method. I became interested in making it a career.” Leila’s interest in the Women’s Health aspect of Pilates came as she transitioned out of the professional dance world and into what would become the greatest learning curve of her life –motherhood. When Leila first became pregnant, she began studying with women’s health experts such as Deb Goodman and Carolyne Anthony to learn more about Prenatal movement and Postnatal recovery. “I have a passion for the Mamas, because we inevitably put ourselves last. The Prenatal class gets women thinking about how to prioritize their physical and mental health before their babies are even born.” Flash forward to today -- Leila has become a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher, a Certified Pre and Postnatal Specialist and a Practitioner of the Center Method of Diastasis Recti Recover and now, Owner of Ebb & Flow Pilates and Movement. She has enjoyed working with and learning from people recovering from hip, knee, back and shoulder injuries & surgeries, scoliosis and just simply helping people get some movement in after a long day of sitting at work. She is passionate about movement education. “Ultimately, the people I work with are my best teachers, each offering me a chance to learn more about the human body and how it works. Pilates has given me a vehicle for helping them feel better in their bodies while doing the things they love to do.” When not teaching, you can find Leila being her kids’ best cheerleader at all their sporting events, searching for time to have full, uninterrupted conversations with her husband whom she adores, dreaming of beach trips, watching comedy shows or reading about anatomy like a true nerd. With gratitude, she welcomes you to Ebb & Flow, where she hopes you’ll find a place to move well, be your best self and a community that feels like “home”.

Caroline Franklin
Pilates Instructor
Caroline stumbled onto Pilates in May 2018 entirely by accident, having no idea how much it would impact her life. After finding a sales associate job at a Pilates studio, she had the opportunity to take classes. One Pilates class in and she did not want to stop! She always had a fascination with the body and how movement heals, but she wasn't quite sure what to do with that fascination. The studio she was working at in Colorado offered a 500-hour comprehensive teacher training program. She knew she wanted to take that next step and dive into becoming a Pilates instructor. In December of 2020, Caroline earned her Comprehensive Pilates Certification. She continues to learn and grow every day. Her favorite way to grow as an instructor is to take classes from other instructors. She says "You only learn so much by watching and listening, you learn the most when you feel it in your own body." Caroline strives to be a great instructor, and believes the way to do that is by being consistent in your own practice and continuing to learn. One of Caroline's favorite things about teaching is seeing her clients' eyes light up when they execute a move they've been struggling to accomplish. Seeing clients progress and have a huge smile on their face is one of the best feelings as an instructor. Caroline loves helping people and Pilates is a way for her to help clients feel better not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Outside of the studio, Caroline enjoys spending time with her husband and family. She and her husband love to golf, ride their motorcycles, go to the lake and have game nights at their house. She looks forward to seeing you in class and helping you move better!
Lynnelle Murray
Pilates Instructor
Lynnelle’s passion for exercise and movement began in Moore, Oklahoma when she was just 10 years old, following along with a VHS tape of “Morning Stretch.” This enthusiasm for fitness carried throughout her early childhood, teen years, and into college, becoming an integral part of her life. Even after meeting her husband and while raising their four children, Lynnelle ensured that exercise remained a staple in her daily routine. Her dedication to maintaining an active lifestyle not only kept her physically fit but also provided her with a sense of balance and well-being amid the demands of family life. As she navigated the demands of motherhood and sought creative ways to maintain her fitness routine, Lynnelle joined a gym that offered daycare. This gym featured a small studio in the back where she was first introduced to Pilates. Intrigued by the equipment, she decided to try a class. From her very first session, she was captivated, attending classes several times a week at 5:00 am, before anyone else in her household was awake. Each session provided a sense of tension release, a deeper connection to her body, joints, and muscles, and a fluidity of movement akin to dancing. Lynnelle came to view Pilates as a holistic practice that enriched her physical, spiritual, and mental well-being. Lynnelle attended Pilates classes for 20 years before deciding to become an instructor and share her passion with others. She received her instructor certification in 2024 from Polestar Pilates based in Miami, while training through Cornerstone Pilates in Dallas. In addition to Pilates, Lynnelle enjoys outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, biking, snow skiing, and spending time in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and family.

Brianna Wernke
Pilates Instructor
Briana has been a dancer since age 4, training at Oklahoma City Ballet. Physical fitness has always been a passion of hers and something she loves helping others explore. She took her first mat Pilates class at age 16, at the ballet studio, as a form of conditioning and fell in love with the way that it supplemented the whole body -- not only for dance, but everyday life. Continuing to take classes, she learned new things about the body – ways to engage the muscles for stability, strength, and flexibility – and was drawn to the experience. As an emerging adult, she was unsure what sort of career she wanted, yet after her first reformer class at age 18, she knew that this was something she was meant to do. “I love that Pilates has something to offer for everyone, whether they are old or young, experienced or just beginning. There is always a way to make a movement harder or modify for injuries and special conditions.” She wanted to help people understand their own bodies, move with intention, teach special populations how to move, and facilitate mind- body awareness. She hopes to create an encouraging and educational classroom environment by celebrating progress and continuing her own education on the body. “My favorite thing to hear is when a client regains movement or is able to move a way they hadn’t previously.” Briana found a 500-hour comprehensive Pilates course and immediately jumped on the opportunity, learning movement using the mat, reformer, springboard, tower, cadillac, spine corrector, and ladder barrel. She is currently an apprentice continuing her certification and is predicted to do the final certification exam in March, 2025. Briana is a full-time student at UCO, studying psychology and Spanish. She aspires to eventually offer Pilates classes entirely in Spanish. She is a mother of two fur babies, her dog Lola Marie and cat Moe Joe. She enjoys learning, reading, writing, painting, traveling, hiking with her dog, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
